Phoenix

We spent a week in Phoenix with Daniel's fam. We had such a great time! It was so nice to escape to some sunny weather. The house we stayed at was sweet. We pretty much spent our entire time hanging out at the house, swimming in the pool, and playing at the park nearby. That's what I love about Anderson Family vacations. They are just so laid back. We had a wonderful time just being together. Mak had such a blast playing with his cousins. The Phoenix Zoo was the coolest zoo I've ever been to. We easily could have spent a couple days straight there. But that's a little complicated with 7 kids.

The boys loved the zoo

The Giant Lizard from Land of the Dragons
The pool at our house was amazing. It had a hot tub connected to it, which made the pool water feel like bath water. Mak was such a little fish in the water! He loved jumping in all by himself. The girls actually liked the water too.

One night we got together with Daniel's Uncle Hoss and Aunt Kelly and their family. They live in Surprise, which is very close to Phoenix. It was so fun to see them! They are such a cute family. We had the best Chinese food ever and then delicious ice cream sundaes.

Kelly wrote down a bunch of stuff we should do for fun while in Phoenix. One of the things she suggested was visiting the Cerreta's Chocolate Factory. Unfortunately, we missed the tour. Fortunately, the kids were still able to make "Chocolate Pizza," which is the only reason they wanted to go anyway :)
