My Little Man

The Doodlepants is so hilarious right now. He is constantly cracking us up with the things he says and does. I don't know where he gets stuff from--probably his crazy dad, but certainly not from me. In this goofy picture, he unzipped his "matches" partway so he could shove his bunny in and let his head hang out. What the heck? We always tell him how goofy he is, and he says, "I Goosy!" or "I funny!"

I know. I'm a bad mom. Here's a little snippet of what goes on at our house when I don't change my two year old's diaper all day.

Dan was writing a letter to Jared the other night and Makee went and pulled out his laptop. Cutest thing ever! Daddy is his best bud.Makee's favorite thing to do right now is dress up in his winter apparel--either while being "Nake" or wearing his "Matches.""NAKE!"
Mak's Uncle Matt gave him a hermit crab for Christmas"Cappy" has already caused a lot of stress, but Makee LOVES him. He's kind of a smelly thing. Mak always says, "Cap sinky." He's the craziest crab ever. One night Dan said, "Um, Lyns, the crab isn't in his cage." I totally thought he was joking. He wasn't. He had climbed to the top of his cage, popped the top up, climbed out, fallen seven feet off Mak's shelf, and gone somewhere I didn't want to discover. I knew we would find him shriveled up in the girls' crib or something. We looked everywhere. Dan cautiously picked up every piece of clothing with his fingertips and shook it hoping Cappy would fall out. But no luck. Finally, Cap was discovered in Makee's closet! Thank goodness. Since then, we've made sure the lid is on tight. But we've seen him many days, even out of his shell suspended from the top, trying to make an escape. Dan calls this the famous "Grandma Thomas Smile." Yes, when he really tries to smile, this is how it looks.Handsome little BuddyThanks for the giggles, Little Man!
