I have felt so overwhelmed with gratitude lately... for answers to prayers, for my husband, for my little boy, for wonderful family and friends... everyone who has helped us out since I have been put on bedrest...and even before that. During my countless doctor's appointments, my mom, Whit, and Heather have babysat Mak and still do. So many others have offered to watch Makee if I need help, and that means so much. Whit has been taking Makee in the mornings so I can just rest. I know it's not easy for her because she is also pregnant and not feeling great, and she also has Isabelle to worry about. But I really appreciate her and everything she has been doing for me. Since I've been put on bedrest, Dan has really had a huge responsibility on his shoulders to keep working, doing yard work, take over cooking, cleaning, laundry, grocery shopping, and taking Mak from the second he gets home. I appreciate him so much for everything he has done. I know it's all taken a bit of a toll on him, and that is why I appreciate so much everyone who has helped us out. One day Jared came over to mow the lawn for Dan. I know it meant so much to him. My dad came over to help Dan paint the girls' nursery. I appreciate when my mom stops by after work to take Makee. My Aunt JoAnn made us dinner, and my sweet grandma has made us several dinners. So many of our ward neighbors have brought dinners in, which has really helped Daniel out. This experience has really humbled me. I'm not very good about accepting help and service, but we have been so blessed by so many who have shown their concern for us. We have felt so loved through all of this. Thanks to all our family and friends for all the phone calls and visits. Thanks to everyone for your concerns about me and our babies, and thank you for your prayers in our behalf. We are truly blessed and cannot wait for the real journey to begin when we meet our little girls!
