Itchy-brations

For Isabelle's birthday, Whit took the day off. Whit and Itch, Jared, and me and Makee went to Olive Garden for lunch--I'm pretty sure that's Isabelle's favorite restaurant, so that's why I suggested it. Then all of us but Jared went to the Living Planet Aquarium. Being a huge fan of the underwater world, I've been wanting to go forever and we just haven't gotten around to it. It was so fun! Both the babies loved it. Makee was totally into it. He was trying to grab all the fish, and he loved the pool with the sting rays. I don't think he actually saw the rays, but he loved playing in the water. I bought a season pass so we can go all the time. It was awesome! I can't wait until they open up the huge aquarium--who knows when that will actually happen. Later that night, we had a little dinner at my parents' house and we gave Itch a few small presents. She had fun opening them. My mom gave her this little pink purse that Makai was obsessed with. We would give him a different toy, and he would crawl over to the purse and carry it around with him. The little purse sings a tune that goes something like this: "Ready to go out, I'll bring my purse along....Sing a little song....Put my bracelet on....I won't be gone too long!" It was hilarious to watch Daniel. He was a little worried that his little boy loved the singing purse. What a fun night to celebrate Little Isabelle's first b-day!
