So Sore

Whitney and I started going to a personal trainer this week. It is free through our work, so we thought, "Why not?" Keep in mind that I haven't worked out in well over a year, and I have never been good about staying in a good exercise routine. My daily stroll through the neighborhood with friends hardly counts as much physical activity. So the first day was so hard! The trainer, Tim, who I have lovingly nicknamed "The Devil" is kicking my butt. He works us so hard, and holy cow am I sore! I can barely walk, and my arms shake when I lift Mak. But it feels so good to be doing something again. I kinda like feeling that burn. Tim is really great, and I really want to stick with this. So look out. Next time you see me you might not even recognize me because of my buffness.

I can already see those bulging biceps!!! I think that is neat that you and Whitney are doing this together. It would definitely be hard to want to go to a personal trainer because you know they are going to work you like nothing else but you just can't pass up the opportunity, especially when it is free.

Oh I wish I had a personal trainer. I am pretty jealous. I just talked to Nicole and she said you guys all went out to dinner tonight. How fun! I wish I could have come. You and your family are so cute. Hey tell whitney to add me to her blog I want to see pictures of her cute little girl. Makai is just the sweetest thing. He is a very good looking baby. Well I hope everything is going well! Oh if she needs my email address it is ericaprestwich@gmail.com

Good for you!!! I loved working out my last pregnancy but haven't since- maybe I can be buff like you someday! Your husband was so sweet for Mother's Day- I am glad you got a good one too!

I dread that soreness. That's probably why I haven't gotten very active even though it's a goal. But a trainer would be really nice. Good luck - it sounds like you will be in great shape in no time.

I too had the pleasure to work out with Tim when I lived in SLC. The devil is a great nickname for him! He is great though - I'm jealous - I could use some personal training again...
