Our Five Year Anniversary

Daniel and I were married five years ago today. I can't believe it has been five years! Time has flown by so fast, and yet I can't remember what my life was like before he was in it. I really can't imagine anyone more perfect for me. He totally gets me, and he is so patient with me. We have been through so much, and it has only made me love him more. Daniel is my best friend and the love of my life. I often wonder to myself why on earth he picked me. But I'm so glad he did!
So Danny-Boy, this post is for you. I love you so much. I think I often take for granted what a wonderful husband I have, but I want you to know how grateful I am for you. I could not ask for a more patient and loving husband. Thanks for putting up with all my crazy quirks. Thanks for being so patient about my lack of a sense of direction, and my overall lack of an understanding of the real world and how it works. Thanks for taking me to Chili's and cuddling with me while we watch a chick flick of my choice after a rough week. Thanks for telling me I don't need to wear make-up even though I really do. Thanks for laughing at my jokes, and for giving me something to laugh about. Thanks for putting up with me when I'm a moody, emotional wreck. Thanks for knowing that when I say "Nothing is wrong," that it really means that something is wrong and I need to talk. Thanks for just listening when I want to talk for hours on end about things that aren't too intellectually stimulating.Thanks for understanding that I will NEVER be able to cook like your mom. Thanks for tolerating my spending habits. Thanks for working so hard to do what is best for our little family. Thanks for being the best dad in the whole world to our little boy. Thanks for giving me faith when I just don't have anymore. Thanks for giving me the most fun I have ever had in my life. Thanks for everything you do for me every day. Thanks for loving me. Thanks for five crazy and amazing years, and many more memories to come! I love you.
