Christmas Celebrations

Boy oh boy, what a crazy and fun Christmas season we've had! We always have a lot going on before Christmas day. I love the Christmas season. This year I got the Christmas stuff out pretty much the week after Halloween. And I never want the season to end. We finished Makee's gingerbread house leftover from Thanksgiving.
More adventures of the Crazy Crab Uncle Matt gave Makee for an early Christmas present. Dan found him suspended from his cage.
I put the girlies under the Christmas tree and they were entertained for quite sometime! Ry is in the stripes, and Bai is in the bright pink
Daniel's Grandma Anderson came from Spanish Fork to spend some time with the family. It was the first time she met the girls! It was so nice to spend some time with that sweet sweet lady. (Pappy holding Ry and Grandma holding Bai)
One night while Dad and Dan went over to help Pete with the house, Whit brought the kids over and we made sugar cookies!
Putting lots of "Finkies" (sprinkles) on the cookies
I had the chance to go visit Grandma Vi, my "adopted" Grandma from when I was in young Women's. I am so glad we still keep in touch! I love her, and she loved seeing the kids (She is holding Bai--Ry is in the carseat)
My sweet little Bai fell asleep sucking her fingers under the Christmas tree. That's the most adorable present I've gotten under my tree!
The Twinsies: Ry in White, Bai in PinkDecember 1: Daniel's family has a tradition of opening up December 1 presents. The presents are usually a Christmas decoration or something the family can enjoy during the holiday season. Grandma Thomas gave Makee a chocolate advent calendar and a little Christmas decoration with singing stuffed snowmen. Dan wanted to start this tradition in our family too. We got Makee the movie "Jingle all the Way," and Winnie the Pooh Christmas. We also got him some gloves and a hat that he was thrilled about!
Whit made this birthday cake for my cousin Cassi's birthday. She loves Legos. I thought it was so cute. We always go to Aaron and Cassi's birthday parties in December, which definitely are part of our holiday celebrations! We always like to have a Christmas party with my family. This year we made homemade pizzas and then headed to Temple Square to see the lights.Yes, Moomers is in a wheelchair. She tore a tendon in her foot and was instructed to wear a boot. She was also instructed to do absolutely the least amount of walking as possible. What a crazy time of year to do no walking! We've been pushing her in a wheelchair so she can get her Christmas shopping done.Me and my little Bailinator
Dan, Makee, and that's Ry under the blanket
The plan was after seeing lights, we were going to go back to Mom and Dad's to frost sugar cookies. Unfortunately when we were driving to temple square, I began feeling a bit queasy. By about halfway through, I was feeling pretty sick. And by the end, I felt like I was going to die. I wasn't sure if I was going to make it home. I spent the rest of my night and the next few days being sicker than I have been in my entire life. Honestly, I thought I was going to die. What a bummer to be sick during the holiday season! I decided to be generous and share my sickness with Dad and Pete as well. Sorry!
Whit had this idea to take this picture to send to Fatty because he wouldn't be home for Christmas. It turned out so cute I thought!Well, there are some of our pre-Christmas activities. So much fun!And I'm sure Christmas will be a blast with this little boy.
