Yes, Christmas was about a month ago. But we had some great Christmas celebrations in December. The month flew right by! I couldn't believe how fast it went. I'm going to do a whole post about the actual Christmas day, but here are a few things we did this Christmas season:
Our nephew Drake was born. Here are some more pictures of him:

We took Makee to Temple Square for the first time ever. That was right around the time he began being pretty stable with his walking, so it was heaven for him to have to much room to walk around and be an independent little man. We wanted to make sure he stayed toasty, so he had a onesie on, then a shirt, then a hoodie, then his puffy coat. He looked like a little puff walking around. Once he hit the snow with his feet, he did a total faceplant, not able to brace himself with his arms! We were laughing so hard. Little squishy.

My Aunt Beckey turned the big 50, and my cousins threw her a big birthday bash. Happy birthday, Beck! We love ya.

Daniel's family had a Christmas party where we had a delicious dinner, a white elephant gift exchange, and also a movie exchange. It was so much fun! But No, that's not the best part...We also had to participate in a talent show. Although it caused me a lot of grief, the talent show portion was awesome! It was seriously hilarious. Chris and Jenna danced to Michael Jackson's Thriller. Heather played the "Office" theme on the piano. Rob danced to "Napoleon Dynamite." Beck made his heart pump out of his shirt. Me and Dan danced to "Jump On It!" while Makee rapped. He actually didn't rap. He cried because everyone was laughing to hard it made him cry. But it was still awesome. And Doug, Lani, and Rash wrote an entire rap and dance about our family's Christmas traditions. It was so clever and so hilarious! We had a great time, and it was definitely a night we won't forget. We also celebrated Heidi's birthday that night. Happy birthday, Heidi!

New Year's Eve we spent with my dad's family like we do every year. But I forgot my camera that night, so we don't have any pictures! We had a really fun night that night playing games and stuffing our faces. New Year's day, we went to my Grandma's for her annual New Year's feast. It was delicious!

Daniel's cousin Alana got married to Steve on January 2.

Some of Daniel's family came here from out of town, and it was so fun to see them!

We are really happy for Alana and Steve. Congrats, guys! We got to go to the wedding dinner, the temple ceremony, and the reception. At the wedding dinner, Daniel's sister Rash and cousin Amanda did a dance. It was hilarious and AWESOME!

After the holidays, my cousin Cassi got baptized. What a great day! Congratulations, Cassafrass!

Last week, we got together with my SBO's from high school. It was so fun! Everyone was there, although I don't think I got pics of everyone. What a bummer! But good times.

Phew, is that everything? Stay tuned for more updates.
