A Bun in the Oven

Yes, we are pregnant! We're very excited. We thought it was time to spread the word since I'm starting to get a belly. Currently, I am about 14 weeks along. My due date is July 28. We went a couple weeks ago and were able to hear the little heartbeat. I love that sound! I was freaking out a little because it took the doctor a while to find the heartbeat. But once she found it, she said it sounded nice and strong. It doesn't seem real until you hear that little heart. It took a while to get Makee here, so we were a little worried about when we would be able to have another baby, but it happened fast! How have I been feeling? Sicker than a dog. You know it's bad when your little boy walks over to the toilet, hovers over it, and makes gagging and dry heaving sounds when you're not even in the room. The first few times I threw up, he walked over to me and laughed, and then went, "Augh!" At least I laugh instead of cry during my dark moments. Little Stinker! I don't know if Makee is ready for a sibling, but it's coming ready or not! I have felt very guilty lately because it takes everything out of me just to get off the couch and get him out of his crib or change his diaper. Poor little guy has to entertain himself. Actually, I've been feeling a lot better for about the last week. I don't know if it is the Vitamin B6 I've been taking, the fact that I'm over 12 weeks along, or that the medication I'm taking is finally in my system. Whatever the reason, I am grateful! It's nice to be blogging again and being able to play with Makee again. We're thrilled to add to our family. More updates to come!
