Daniel's Great Grandma (Nana) passed away on November 9, 2008. She was 101 years old. She fell about a month ago and was never quite able to recover. But she has been pretty healthy her whole life. She was able to live on her own until a couple years ago when she moved in with our Aunt Lyle. Nana was a wonderful woman of great faith and great love. Daniel was sick and was not able to go to her funeral, but it was a beautiful service. Everyone gave such a wonderful tribute to a woman who had a great influence on all of us because of her exemplary life. Nana had an identical twin sister who was her best friend. She loved telling stories about the adventures of her and her sister. One of the granddaughters spoke at the funeral about how Nana always said, "I don't like to be alone. I guess that's why I'm a twin!" What a sweet lady that we will never forget. But we are so happy that she was able to finally reunite with her Heavenly Father and all her loved ones that have been waiting anxiously for her. What an exceptional legacy she has left. We will never forget her.
