Makai has been tagged by his second cousin Joshua. Seeing that he can’t type yet, I’ll help him out. Here are 11 facts about the Mak Daddy.

1. Most of you probably know this, but Mak was born exactly one month early. I was due October 4, and he was born September 4, 2007. We don’t know why he came early. He was only 5 lbs. 3 oz. when he was born. He had to be in the NICU for about five days, but since then, he has been a healthy and happy baby boy.

2. Makai has a tooth. He had been chewing and slobbering for quite some time, and we saw a little white thing on his gums, but his tooth never popped up. On Mother’s Day, Daniel’s mom was feeling inside his mouth and felt a tooth. I don’t know when it came up! Though you can’t see the tooth in the picture, he looks so cute when he smiles.

3. Ever since he could roll, Mak sleeps on his side. The second we put him in his crib, he immediately rolls over on his side and hugs the bumper. He’s just like Daniel and I. Neither of us can sleep without hugging a pillow.

4. He LOVES food. Ever since we have started feeding Makai solids, he can’t get enough. He will eat just about anything, and he always wants to eat what we are eating. He acts as if he might die if we don’t get some more food in his mouth before he finishes his last bite.

5.Makai loves being outside. If he’s having a rough day, I will take him outside and it will calm him right down. He could spend hours outside just looking around. We go walking every day, and he loves it.

6. Makai’s hair pretty much only grows in this strip down the middle of his head. We call it the toupee. We sometimes give him a Mohawk, which is totally cute, but I’m ready to give him a summer buzz.

7. Besides the recent tantrums he has begun to throw due to the fact that he thinks he should have food in his mouth 24/7, Makai is a very well-mannered and mellow baby.
He will let anyone hold him, and he will be content to just sit on someone’s lap or in his stroller for quite an extended amount of time. He’s just a chill little dude.

8. For some reason, Mak seems to like men more than women. Not that he doesn’t love me and his grandmas and aunts, but men just don’t seem to
have to try as hard to get a smile or a laugh out of him. He loves to play with his dad, and he thinks his dad is hilarious. I really think he is a bit of a Daddy’s boy. My brother Jared doesn’t have to do anything but say Hi to him, and he will flash him the biggest grin ever. Although his cousin Beck can be a bit of a rough neck with him, he loves to play with him, and Beck is so sweet to him. Mak loves both of his grandpas. My dad can get him giggling so hard! He has a big head because of this. Grandpa is Makai’s buddy.

9. The Mak Attack is a very curious little man. He gets into EVERYTHING, and he doesn’t even crawl yet. Our nightly routine of getting his PJs on usually consists of me trying to take off his clothes while he reaches for every possible object in and out of his reach.

10. Makai has chunky little feet. He loves when I smell his feet and go “Ew, stinky feet!” He thinks it is funny. I love to kiss his tiny toes.

11. Lately, Makee loves his mommy a lot. When someone else is holding him and he wants me, he will lean toward me. Sometimes when he’s tired, he cries until I get him. It’s a great feeling! Don’t get me wrong, I love that he will let anyone hold him, and that he’s so good natured. But it’s good to know that he loves me.

Well, there are 11 facts about our little boy. He makes us laugh every day. I had to throw this picture in because I thought it was a hilarious face. He is so much fun! Now Makai is going to tag some kids whose moms might read this: Isabelle, Parker, the McDonough kids, Addy, Stanton, Jack, Nathan, Emie, and Conner

This is so cute...I love all the pictures of Makey. You forgot to put the most important fact of all though, and that is that he loves his Aunt Whitters more than anyone else in the world. Ü

oh how fun. I think I might have to fill out Emie's tag also since she can't quite type yet either. She says thanks to Mak for the tag.

I know that I saw this over and over but he is just too cute! I really do wish that I was Japanese so that I could possibly have a dark complexion baby like Makai. I guess I better have my mom get out the eyeliner again! Just kidding. Anyway, I will make sure Parker gets on the computer tomorrow and fills out his tag!
