No, those are not chocolate cookie remains around Mak's mouth. We have a little tree in our living room that Daniel's parents gave him for his birthday. Makee loves to sneak back behind the recliner chair so he can play in the dirt. One night we were hanging out in the living room, and Makee disappeared behind the chair. It suddenly got very quiet, and Daniel and I looked at each other. Suddenly we heard gagging and coughing. We dashed back behind the chair to see our little boy with dirt around his lips and a mouthful of mud! What a boy! We're in trouble.
As for other updates on our little mansie, he is starting to walk! I need to get some pictures of him walking. But he's gone from insisting on holding both hands, to holding just one hand, to holding just one of our fingers. Now he is getting pretty good at walking three or four steps from Dan to me. He is even starting to walk on his own even 7 or 8 steps! It is so exciting! My little guy is growing up so fast. He continues to be busy and getting into everything. But he is so stinkin' much fun. He loves dancing to every tune with a good beat--especially the Jason Mraz song, "I'm Yours." That is Mak's favorite song to jam to, so Dan turns it on pretty much every night for him so we can watch him swing his little arms and bounce his little bum. It is so funny. He has started saying "Buh-buh," as he waves his hand, which means "Bye-bye." The other day my mom was over and she took him downstairs. I went down to see what they were doing, and Mak looked at me and said, "Buh-buh," and he shut the door on me! Little stinker. He is becoming such a little tease. He also has started folding his hands when we say our prayers at night. It's so cute! He just knows what to do. Here are some pictures I took a while ago when the first big snow hit. He looked out the window all day.

It is about stinkin time! I have been so bored of your blog! These are way cute pics, I didn't know Mak has started folding his arms for prayer too, he is becoming quite the little stud and I can't wait to see him walking around in his tuxedo.
I love the dirt pictures! Awesome! I am glad he is starting to walk but watch out...here comes the fun!! What a cute guy :)
It looks like you might be playing in the snow with Mak this winter! Parker loves the snow too. That is very funny about the dirt. Your boy eats dirt and mine eats screws!!! We got quite the pair.
Hey Linds - i just wanted to say HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! I hope you had a good day!
