Makee Milestones

I feel like my little boy is growing up so fast. He is starting to pick on up things so quickly, and it is so fun to watch his progress! Friday was a HUGE day for the Mak. I don't know why Friday was such a crazy day, but he began doing all sorts of new things. Out of nowhere, the army crawl went out the door and he began to do the regular crawl! I'm so excited, and really a bit sad. He's been army crawling for months now, and I never caught it on video. I've been so anxious for him to start actually crawling, and now that the army crawl isn't happening, I miss seeing his scoots across the room. But I'm excited to have a crawler.He also started to hold the phone up to his ear and pretend like he's talking on it. Um, I guess I spend a little too much time on the phone. But how cute is that? I love when they start to figure out how to be little copy cats. My mom stuck her tongue out to lick her lips, and he immediately stuck his tongue out! Usually when he sticks his tongue out, he will hold it with his index finger and his thumb. What a funny little squish. He has also started clapping. It's so cute to watch him clap. He closes one fist and claps his open hand on the other. His daddy is currently in the process of teaching him "bones" where they knock their fists into each other as a sign of "coolness" or "manlihood." He loves playing with his dad!The funniest thing that happened on Friday was when we were at Bajio with the Mexican music loudly blaring through the restaurant. From the minute we walked in, Makee's arms were flying all over the place! We couldn't figure out what on earth he was doing. We finally figured out that he was dancing. It was hilarious! When we got home, we decided to see if that is what he was really doing. Dan turned on his IPOD to some Mexican tunes. As soon as they started, the arms began to fly. What a crazy little mansie! We love him so much. He gets more fun every day.
