Friday I went to Pleasant Green to visit the school I used to teach at. I brought the Mak Daddy with me. It was so fun to see all the teachers I used to work with. I went before school got out for the day so I could see some of my old kids. They are so stinkin' cute! Oh, how I miss teaching. The kids were excited to see me, and I was thrilled to see them. They loved Makai and thought he was so cute. I got a thousand questions from them, and a thousand statements like, "I have a baby cousin!" and "Do you still have the baby present I gave you?" and "Rock On, Mrs. Anderson!" and "Are you coming back to teach us?" My little Oscar said, Mrs. Anderson, you should come visit me tomorrow at my house (and he told me his address). What a crack-up! I should have written down all the amusing stories my kids told me while I was teaching. I laughed every day. I need to write some down before I forget all of them. I hope to teach again some day. This is a picture of my old first grade class after a play we put on for the school. The play was after the book Diary of a Worm. It was so hilarious. I taught the cutest kids ever!
