Makai in the NICU

Makai needed to be in the NICU because he was born one month early. He didn't need any oxygen. He did have an IV put in for the first couple of days. However, he started eating well so they took the IV out. He did not like formula very much. He loved his mom's milk. He was borderline with keeping his body temperature. We are so glad that he was in the NICU for only 5 days.
